世界的なコロナ感染拡大の影響を受けて、さらに深刻なプラスチック廃棄物による環境問題が発生しています。この問題について靑研究室では2019年より「プラスチック海洋汚染防止への道標～SDGs の目標達成に向けて～」をテーマに​欧州・アジア対話・国際会議を開催し、問題解決に向け学生と専門家等で議論してきました。2021年2月に「社会システム構想グループ（Sustainable Social System Designing Group）」を新たに設置し「サーキュラーエコノミー（循環型経済）」の実現に向けた政策づくりを検討しています。加えて、日本国内でも「カーボンニュートラル達成に貢献する大学等コアリション」の取り組みが稼働しています。私たちYCUでは、キャンパスをゼロカーボン化する「ゼロカーボン・キャンパスWG」、地域のゼロカーボン化を目指す「地域ゼロカーボンWG」、カーボンニュートラル人材を育成していく「人材育成WG」、日本と世界をつなぐ、特にアカデミックコンソーシアムを基盤にアジアのメンバー大学との知的な協力関係を目指す「国際連携・協力WG」の取り組みを進めていきます。2022年は、自治体関係者、民間企業、地域の人たち、そして小中高校生とも一緒に考える機会を増やして、諸問題の解決に向け様々なアイデアを共有させていきます。若い人たちだから見つけられるアイデアを大切にして、2030年、2050年のカーボンニュートラル・ゼロの実現を目指して具体的な取り組みを提案していきます。ぜひ​協働して問題の解決を目指しましょう！
 

​🍀 About Blue Laboratory 

Due to the global spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) Infections, serious environmental problems are occurring continuously due to plastic waste (especially microplastics).

Regarding this problem, my laboratory held a European-Asia dialogue under the theme of “Symposium Pathway to Reducing Marine Plastic Pollution -Toward achieving Sustainable Development Goals-” in 2019 and doing further research on this issue. We have been discussing solving together between the company and the city. In February 2021, we newly established the "Sustainable Social System Designing Group" and are considering making policies for the realization of a "Circular Economy and Sustainabilty". And institutional design, such as extended producer responsibilities, must be rethought.

At our university, YCU, the Zero Carbon Campus WG is to make the campus zero carbon. The Regional Zero Carbon WG aims to make the region zero carbon. The Human Resource Development WG is developing carbon-neutral human resources. In 2022, we will increase opportunities to think together with local government officials, private companies, local people and elementary, junior high and high school students and discuss various issues. We will let people share multiple ideas for solutions. And we will value the ideas that young people can find and propose concrete measures to achieve zero carbon neutrality in 2030 and 2050. Let's work together to solve our problems!
