🍁 “ゼミナール紹介” Seminar introduction
◎学部生/Undergraduate Students
YCUのゼミナールは、学部２年生から４年生までの３年間で開講します。
国内や海外の環境問題について学ぶことに強い意欲を持った学生が集まっています。ゼミで行う個人研究は、卒論研究に向けた研究を行うに留まらず、２年～４年生まで学年の枠を越えたグループ研究を活発に行っている点が特徴です。
海外研修活動（計16回）では、これまで欧州のスウェーデンを計10回訪問し、デンマーク、フィンランド、イタリア、ラトビア、リトアニア等の国を併せて訪問しました。アジアでは、インドネシア、タイ、フィリピン、ベトナム、マレーシアを訪問しました。現地の大学や環境NGOでワークショップを開催し、日ごろの研究と英語学習の成果を発表しています。私が引率した海外研修活動には延べ211人の学生が参加しました。現地では大学生との交流だけでなく、中学生、高校生との交流も積極的に行ってきました。そして環境分野の専門家等と一緒に研究についての意見交換を行っています。研修に参加した学生等は、国際的な知見が得られるとともに現地の伝統的な食事や文化、雄大な自然にも触れ、人々とのコミュニケーション能力の向上と自身の感性を磨いています。
●2023-2025年の主なグループ研究（PJ）は６つあります。
🍁 ゼミナール（大学院／学部）の研究テーマ
１）持続可能な開発とSDG実現、２）サーキュラーエコノミー（CE）の実現、３）環境ビジネス支援（環境配慮製品の生産と消費の推進）、４）地球規模の環境対策（温暖化、大気汚染、海洋汚染）、５）再生可能なエネルギー、６）環境教育（ESD）の実践、７）食糧政策・低炭素農業、８）国際環境協力など。現在は、カーボンニュートラルに向けた「エコキャンパス」「地域のサーキュラーエコノミ形成」「環境人材育成」「エコタウンのReイノベーション」に関する活動を行っています。

1) Sustainable Development & SDGs, 2) Circular Economy Society, 3) Sustainable Business (Production and Consumption of environmentally friendly), 4) Global Environmental Policy (global warming, air pollution, marine pollution), 5) Renewable Energy, 6) Practice of environmental education (ESD), 7) Food and Agriculture, 8) International environmental cooperation, etc. Our WGs have been set up and are working towards 'Eco-Campus NET ZERO', 'Regional Circular Economy' and 'Environmental Human Resource Development', etc.

🍁 ゼミナール（大学院／学部）の活動・教育実績
■2022年9月1-11日 海外フィールドワークでスウェーデンを訪問
2022年9月1日から11日まで横浜市立大学が実施している「海外フィールドワーク事業」で、学生10人と北欧スウェーデンのウプサラ、ストックホルム、エスキルストゥーナを訪問しました。SDG（持続可能な開発目標）の実現に向けた先進的な環境取組、カーボンニュートラルを目指す環境取組を視察しました。研究対象は、自治体や企業によるカーボンニュートラル実現のための取り組みで、特にプラスチック廃棄物及び食品廃棄物の削減とその有効利用、交通や住宅、産業、農業等における再生可能エネルギー使用拡大と省エネ推進、大学、地方自治体、企業と連携したカーボンニュートラルの取組状況など、2030年そして2050年に向けた「カーボンニュートラル」及び「地域カーボンニュートラル」の現状について把握できました。
■Visited Sweden for overseas fieldwork (1-11 Sept 2022)
We (10 students) visited Uppsala, Stockholm and Eskilstuna, Sweden, from 1 to 11 September 2022. We saw advanced environmental initiatives to realize the SDG and ecological initiatives for carbon neutrality. Our visit investigated initiatives to release carbon neutrality towards 2030 and 2050. 1) Reduction and effective utilization of plastic and food waste; 2) Expansion of renewable energy use in transport, housing, industry, agriculture, etc. 3) Status of carbon neutral initiatives in cooperation with universities, local authorities, and companies.
■2021年12月8-10日 エコプロ2021に出展（東京ビッグサイト）
2021年12月8日から10日までの3日間、エコプロ2021が東京ビッグサイトで開催されました。
コロナの影響でイベントの規模は3分の１程度まで縮小されましたが、2030年のSDGｓの達成、2050年のパリ協定の達成に向け、大変重要な環境展示会になりました。横浜市立大学ではSDGsのNo7「エネルギー」とNo12「持続可能な生産と消費(SCP)」に着目し、2030年を目標に「キャンパス・ゼロカーボン」と「地域ゼロカーボン」の実現に向けて推進しています。大学は「サーキュラー・エコノミー」と「カーボンニュートラル・ゼロ」を実現させていく上で重要な役割を担っています。今回はサスティナブルな「未来型サーキュラー・エコノミー」と「カーボンニュートラル・ゼロ」への新しいモデルを創出するためのアイデアを交換する場として位置づけました。
その一つ、「持続可能な生産と消費(SCP)」研究グループでは、「農産物通販サイトに関する消費者の意識」に関して来場者に対しアンケート調査を実施し、305人から回答を得ました。この詳細は資料をご覧ください。ご意見等があれば、是非、お知らせください。
■Exhibited at Ecopro 2021 (8-10 December 2021)
We participated in the "EcoPro 2021" world Exhibition in Tokyo, Japan, from 8-10 December. This is an environmental business exhibition named "SDGs Week EXPO 2021". It was a significant environmental exhibition for achieving the SDGs in 2030 and the Paris Agreement in 2050. Yokohama City University focuses on SDGs No7, 'Energy', and No12, 'Sustainable Production and Consumption (SCP)' and is promoting the realization of 'Campus Zero Carbon' and 'Regional Zero Carbon' by 2030. Universities have an essential role in making the 'circular economy' and 'carbon neutral zero' a reality. This year's event was positioned as a forum for exchanging ideas to create new models for a sustainable 'Circular Economy of the Future' and 'Carbon Neutral Zero'.
The Sustainable Production and Consumption (SCP) research group surveyed consumer attitudes towards mail-order produce websites. The survey was conducted with visitors to the exhibition. ■2021年3月11日 高大連携教育プログラム
研究室メンバー３名が横浜商業高校国際学科を訪問し100分間の特別講演を行いました。高校生によるプラスチック問題を中心とした６つの研究発表。そして研究室の学生から高校生のプレゼンに対して研究方法、コメントとアドバイスをしていました。次に私たちの研究室が現在実施している４つの研究プロジェクトについての説明、マイクロプラスチック問題とサーキュラーエコノミーについて講演しました。
後日高校からは、「SDGsに携わってくる中で、私の講義やゼミ生からのメッセージに生徒が影響を受けたようです」という連絡をもらいました。この特別講義の最後に、横浜市の高校と大学が連携しSDGsの目標達成に向けて実施できる共同研究を提案しました。これから高大連携による横浜市SDGsプログラムのスタートです！
■ High School- University Cooperative Education Program (11 March 2021)
We visited the international studies class of the Yokohama Shogyo High School with 3 of my Laboratory Students. We had a special lecture that was given for 100 minutes. First, high school students presented their research. My Laboratory students gave excellent comments and advice for the 6 group studies. Then, my students explained the current research projects in our Laboratory. I gave a lecture about Micro Plastic Problem and Circular Economy. Finally, I proposed research on SDGs conducted in collaboration with high schools and universities in Yokohama City.

テーマ：地球規模の環境問題と私たちの生活～SDGｓを学んで実践へ～
Global environmental issues and our daily lives －Learning SDGs and then implementing －

● 開催方法：ZOOMによるオンラン授業 Online lessons by ZOOM
● 参加者数 小学4－6年生62名、中学生5名 計67名（61家族）
62 elementary school 4th-6th graders, 5 junior high school students, 67 in total (61 families)
ディスカッションの進行役・書記としてゼミナール学生25名が参加し、オンライン上で小学生と保護者を対象とした環境教育（ESD）の実践を行いました。今回のワークショップの課題（ワーク）は大きく２点でした。
💛ワーク① エコマークを探そう！＋ エコマークがなくても環境や人に優しい商品を探そう
💛ワーク② 家から出るゴミを減らす方法を考えよう！
１）食べ物のゴミを減らすために家で気をつけることは？
２）容器包装や使い捨てプラスチックを減らす方法は？
We practiced environmental education (ESD) online for elementary school students and parents. There were two significant issues (work) in this workshop.
💛 Work ① Let's find the Eco Label! ＋ Let's find products that are friendly to the environment and people even without the Eco Label
💛 Work ② Let's think about ways to reduce the amount of garbage that comes out from our house!
1) How to reduce food waste?
2) How to reduce containers and packaging and disposable plastics?
